1. Process Permitting

Brightland Homes will submit plans to the city for approval

2. Pre-Construction Meeting

Your Construction Manager will go over the details of the homebuilding process and answer all of your questions

3. Lot Preparation

Your lot will be prepared for the foundation of your home and the slab will be poured

4. Framing, Cornice, & Roof

Your Construction Manager will go over the details of the homebuilding process and answer all of your questions

5. Mechanical Installation

Electrical wires and plumbing pipes are run through the interior walls, ceilings, and floors. Ductwork is installed for the heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system.

6. Pre-Sheetrock Meeting

You will meet your Construction Manager to go over all options in the home and answer any questions before sheetrock is installed

7. Insulation & Polyseal

Your home will be sealed and insulated, saving you money on your heating and air conditioning

8. Sheetrock & Finishes

The interior finished and paint colors you have selected will be applied

9. Tile & Countertops

Your personal choices in kitchen and bath tile and countertops will be installed

10. Brick, Stone & Stucco

The exterior of your home will be built and you will start to see your beautiful drive-up appeal

11. Complete Exterior & Landscape

The finishing touches are put on the exterior lot of your home

12. Plumbing & Electrical

Faucets, sinks, and lighting fixtures are installed

13. Flooring Installed

Your house will look like a home once the flooring is finished

14. Final Paint & Clean

Your home is prepared for final inspection

15. Final Inspections

Your Construction Manager will carefully go through your home and the city will give their final inspection and approval

16. Homeowner Orientation

It's time to get to know your new home! Your Construction Manager will help you get to know all the features of your new home

Inspections

City inspections may evaluate your property periodically. At these times, it may seem like little progress is being made, but rest assured they are validating that your home meets or exceeds code requirements. At each stage, they will give their approval so that the next stage of the building process can continue.
